How to Install Minecraft Skins

Being able to customize the look of your Minecraft character is a nice feature, but you may be wondering how to do it. This guide will show you how.

Step 1.

Download a skin. A good website to download skins is http://freeminecraftskins.com.

Step 2.

Once you have downloaded a skin you will need to head to http://minecraft.net/profile.

Step 3.

Log into your account and then upload your skin.

Now when you open Minecraft your character should have the skin that you chose!

Sorry guys, I fixed the guide! Now all you have to do is log into your account and find the proper skin you want to upload. Looks like the skin needs to be saved as a PNG file.

http://www.minecraft.net/profile also has a reference file you can download (http://www.minecraft.net/images/char.png) if you need a guide.
